A few weeks ago I wrote about how Pinterest is flipping the Business to Consumer Model upside down. My take on that still remains that businesses can truly benefit when embracing the “Pinners’ Circle.” By getting involved in pinning, you take your business to a whole new level.
Let’s look at one of our clients who creates one-of-a-kind handbags. Nancy, from Tikabags
, creates French inspired handbags and every Wednesday at 7 p.m. she introduces a new handbag for one lucky person to buy. She uses Pinterest to show not only her handbags and sock bags, but also her interests. Of the 12 boards that she has on Pinterest, she only has two with her products. She’s getting involved with her current and future customers by sharing her interests with them.
Think about those businesses and interests that compliment your business on Pinterest. Make sure to have at least 3 other boards.
Have fun Pinning!
